Mt. Airy Home for Caroline W.

I've been saving this commission for the past six months, and have finally completed it! I went to middle school in Mt. Airy and absolutely love some of the giant old houses there. This "twin" house was built in 1897, and still maintains its Victorian charm. The porch looks like a lovely place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee!

Christmas Commissions

For the next month, I will have to take a little break from posting as most of the commissions are Christmas gifts for loved ones, and I do not want to ruin the surprise for anyone. In the meantime check out more of my work featured in posts below. Also, I have a fresh round of Philadelphia Row Home prints available on my Etsy page.
I am still taking commissions for the Holidays, so feel free to email me with any inquiries.

Rittenhouse home for Jess B.

This past summer, I walked around all the neighborhoods I love in Philly and dropped some promotional materials for my portraits in mail slots of houses I adored. Subsequently, I was contacted by one very nice lady, and got to draw this gorgeous home. The roof looks like a little oasis in the middle of the city!

Some details below..

Philly and Minneapolis houses for Ann T.

These are two lovely houses that were so much fun to draw!
I got to work with the nicest mother and daughter who were so helpful with
providing me with different photos multiple times.
The pets were also great to draw too.

Below is Mr. Meowgi.
I love drawing these historical Philadelphia houses.

Ardmore and N.E.Philly houses for Ann H.

These pieces were a wedding gift set that I completed a few weeks back.
Lots of brick work! The row home is the one in the Northeast.

Some details..

Alumni House for Amanda L.

This piece was a gift for a woman who is retiring from working in the Alumni House at George Washington University. I really like the symbolism of putting in the blooming cherry tree. This was presented to her at a banquet by her fellow coworkers.

Dexter Street.

This nice home is located in a neighborhood that I lived in for awhile when I was a teenager, called Roxborough. The client was my next door neighbor growing up, and now she and her husband bought this awesome house.
Here's her cute calico kitty that is pictured in the top middle window.
Some plant details, drawing landscaping is one of my favorite things.
I really like this old double front door.

Somewhere in Bala Cynwyd, PA...

.. is a lovely home with a precious dog.
This house was a bit of a challenge with all the stone work,
but it is really quite charming and I enjoyed drawing it!

Here's some detail shots of the stone work and the dog.

Realtor Closing Gifts

I have recently relocated to the beautiful city of Missoula, Montana. Out here I am trying to get more Real Estate agents as clients. I just drew some sample portraits of some of the styles of houses out here. I offer discounted rates for Realtors who are looking to commission these as closing gifts for their clients!

Addison Street

This portrait of a house from the Rittenhouse area, is for a nice gentleman who just relocated to Ohio. The caption on the bottom says "20xx Addison Street Philadelphia- Built in 1860- Rebuilt in 2010."
I really like that he wanted the tree with the Christmas lights included!

Treehouse

Somewhere in New Jersey a lucky fella' will be receiving this as a Father's
Day present. He built this little treehouse for his daughter.
The basket passes notes/goodies from the treehouse to the back deck.
I love getting commissions with lots of landscaping and garden space.

Historical Charm

This house is located near 9th and Pine. I really enjoyed all of the details,
the little plaques and the windows around the front door.
This nice lady is moving to Texas!
